JULY 7th 2019 GIG @ BAR 42, WORTHING
Solitary Be will be playing a set at the infamous "Punkish Noisish All Dayer" @ Bar 42 in Worthing. Run by Train of Thought Record Shop, this long-running beast of day is set to feature 13 of Sussex's noisiest bands in 6 hours of mayhem (3-9pm), including Noisferatu (pic)! All Hail Thee Radish! Entrance is free so come down and see us. Set time TBC, but probably early.
We are delighted to announce the release of a new collaborative single with notorious Brighton artist Nil by Nose: Feel. Our latest single takes you to a darker side of the Be, mixing Solitary's indie rock sound with an industrially fused beat. You'll also be able to hear this track on Nil by Nose's upcoming collaborative album: 'With'. Check the new song out by clicking on the artwork!
DECEMBER 2018 Acoustic Christmas Gig in the Lounge
We were very lucky to be invited to play at the 'Christmas Acoustic Gig in the Lounge' for the fourth year in a row. We were joined by four other bands, including POG and the infamous 'La Pequena Em' and had an awesome night with some lovely people.
OCTOBER 2018 NEW SINGLE: KILLER KING WAVES
Solitary Be are proud to announce the release of our third single "Killer King Waves" on 4th October 2018. This surf-rock track was written about the "King Waves" on Australia's West Coast, which ride 20-40 feet high. This punchy track was recorded in Brighton, and produced by Marty Jenkins of 'Fresh School Buddha' fame. Thanks also to Nigel Coombs for use of his amazing studio. We hope you like our latest music.
We had an awesome time opening the Main Stage at Patchfest 2018. We played a 9 song set, including two covers (Word Up & Learn To Fly). Thanks to Main Stage Manager Caroline for inviting us to play.

JULY 14th 2018 OPENING PATCHFEST MAIN STAGE
We are delighted to have been invited to open the Main Stage at Patchfest 2018, held in William Clarke Park (Off Hartington Road/Picton St./Franklin St.), Brighton on Saturday 14th July. Our half hour set will begin at 2pm on the Main Stage in the top end of the "Patch" so don't miss it!
Patchfest is an annual community music festival and is now in its 12th year, attracting thousands of people each year, and it will be Solitary Be's 2nd time playing the festival. As well as 3 music stages, there is a kids stage & activity area, football tournament, healing area, 50+ stalls, and lots of delicious local food stalls. And most importantly, the beer tent! Come down and make a day of it. Suggested entrance donation is £2.
MARCH 2018 FIRST RADIO PLAY! 1BTN RADIO
We had our first FM radio play! 'Take My Hand' was premiered on Monday 5th March on 1BTN Radio's breakfast show "Cabin Time". The station is available on 101.4FM in the Brighton area, DAP radio or internet so I hope we reached some people. Thanks to hosts Malik and Emily for the awesome review.
